Burning Lands Environmental Scenes and Architecture
This is the Gateway to the Valley of Fire. On the other side of the Gateway lays the Modern day Capitol Fire Wall.
The Burning Watch Tower. This is one of four fortresses designed to warn the mainland of any distress. They have a system of signaling in multiple color and in pulses. The signal torch sits atop a pillar of skystone is hoisted high up and can be seen afar
The Map of the Burning Lands. This is a glimpse into the larger project. There are many locations throughout the country. The terrain and culture changes slightly to adapt to the environment.
This is a series of concepts for the area of Xerod. Named for the Skystone God that fell in battle here. Here the Elenari help the Flamasters mine for precious Skystone.
The Wheel. It is a major city in the Burning Lands. It is a crossroads in the center of the country. It is also the home to the Wielders of the Wheel. This illustration's details are broken down in many other portfolio pieces.
This is a series of sketches detailing the Architectural types of major buildings throughout the Burning Lands. Building details change as you travel one province to another.
This Image is the rough design of a Flamaster residential home. I plotted a schematic of how they might set up necessary elements of the Flamaster home. The image on the bottom is colored in my next image.

This Rough Sketch plots out many places within Fire Wall, the Flamaster capitol seat of government. This image is skewed to show all my elements in one scene, but in reality these structures are spaced out much further.
This is more sketches of Fire Wall. The top left is a Wyvern Atrium; which attaches to the Capitol Building (top right). The bottom images are the Valley of Fire.
This is a detail of the Wyvern Atrium; which I never got the chance to detail further. This atrium would house many fire breathing beast. This is meant to be equivalent to a horse stable, but for dragons (Wyverns really).
This series of sketches is of Rigid Port. This is another part of the project I would have liked to push further. This port entered into subterranean tunnels; which stone dirges could travel.

This is a collection of art from one of my older projects (2012-2013). It is all Environmental and Architectural Images of the Burning Lands and the Stone Dirge ships that can navigate the fiery waters there. Within the images includes the map to the country. and break down designs.
